PROMOTION: First 25 registered participants will recieve a free SRC workout T-Shirt.
Agility: The “L” cone drill (video from King Sports Training)
Power/Strength: The Broad Jump (video from IgniteConditioning)
Endurance/Strength: 135 Max Rep Bench Press (video from Howcast Sports Fitness)
Rugby Skill: PASSING SKILL COMPETITION: (2 OFFICIAL ATTEMPTS): this station will be set up at the field house and is more of a bonus competition designed to show the mechanics of rugby passing. Athletes will have a target and they will have 10 rugby balls all lined up appx. 10-15 meters away. They will then have 15 seconds to get as many balls to either hit the target. Official count by coach will be used to measure scoring of drill.
The scoring will be based on a points system. The top performer of each event will recieve a points rating and the top points earner at the end of the 3 challenges will be hailed the winner of the competition and recieve the first place prize.
Prizes will be awarded the top 3 competitors of the event.
